Día uno / First day

Esas 10 (o 14) libras de más se tienen que ir. No es que sea tan vanidosa, pero 2/3 de mi ropa ya no me queda y además quiero cortar el cabello… sí, más, y bueno, hay ciertos cortes que no combinan con mis mejillas rozagantes. Entonces hoy ha sido el día uno de un proceso para perder 10 (o 14 o 16) libras. No sé cuánto me va a tomar, pero por lo pronto hoy caminé 4 km, hice 15 minutos de pesas y comí un tercio de las galletas que normalmente como… nada drástico. Les mantendré al tanto de los avances. Ah, sí, y me tomé unas tres tazas de café americano, sin leche y sin azúcar.

Dicen que la única diferencia entre las papas de Mcdonalds y las de KFC es la sal, que en uno de los dos viene por separado /Apparently there's only one difference between fries in McDonalds and KFC, one of them give you the chance of adding or not the salt. I didn't.

ENGLISH VERSION

The goal is to lose 10 pounds (or 14). It’s not that I’m too fat, but if I keep walking through this way I’ll end up changing my whole closet.

…and I want to cut my hair a little bit more, but I can’t imagine the hairstyle I have in mind wearing, at the same time, these beautiful extra pounds.

Anyway, today is the first day of an effort to lose some weight and get healthier. I have to say that I’m not in a hurry so, apart from running 4 km and doing 15 mins of weights I just cut the cookies from 9 (or 15) to 3… I’ll let you know the effect in a couple of days… oh, and I’ve drunk 3 cups (around 16 onz) of American coffee (no milk, no sugar).
